Audio Technology and Features

• H2 Chip: This custom chip powers improved performance, including enhanced Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, and longer battery life.
• Pro-level Active Noise Cancellation: Up to twice as effective as the first-generation AirPods Pro, it effectively cancels out a wider range of unwanted noise.
• Adaptive Audio: This feature dynamically blends Active Noise Cancellation with Transparency mode, adjusting the sound levels based on your environment.
• Adaptive Transparency: This mode allows you to hear important sounds around you while reducing the volume of harsh, loud noises (like sirens or power tools).
• Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking: Creates an immersive, three-dimensional audio experience that adapts to your head movements.
• Adaptive EQ: Tunes the music to your ears in real-time based on the fit of the ear tips.
• Additional features: Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, and Personalized Volume.
• Lossless Audio: With an updated model, the AirPods Pro 2 now support Lossless Audio when paired with a compatible device like the Apple Vision Pro.

Design and Controls

• Earbuds: The earbuds are nearly identical in design to the first-generation model but come with an extra-small (XS) silicone ear tip option, in addition to the standard S, M, and L sizes.
• Touch Controls: The stems now have touch control, allowing you to swipe up or down to adjust the volume.¹¹ You can also press the stem to play, pause, answer calls, or switch between listening modes.
• Case: The MagSafe Charging Case has been redesigned with a built-in speaker for Find My alerts and a lanyard loop. It’s also now IP54 dust, sweat, and water-resistant.

Battery and Charging

• Battery life (earbuds only):
  • Up to 6 hours of listening time on a single charge with Active Noise Cancellation enabled.
  • Up to 4.5 hours of talk time.
• Battery life (with case):
  • Up to 30 hours of total listening time.
  • Up to 24 hours of talk time.
• Charging: The case can be charged with a MagSafe charger, Apple Watch charger, any Qi-certified charger, or through the USB-C connector (in the updated model).

Connectivity and Sensors

• Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.3 wireless technology.
• Sensors: Dual beamforming microphones, an inward-facing microphone, a skin-detect sensor, and accelerometers for motion and speech detection.
• H2 and U1 Chips: The H2 chip is in the earbuds, while the U1 chip in the charging case enables Precision Finding with the Find My app.
